Play in the park this summer
A team of play workers will once again be visiting parks and open spaces throughout Pembrokeshire this summer. Pembrokeshire County Council's mobile Play in the Park team will be supporting youngsters across the County in their choice of play. This summer holiday the team will be in action at a wider variety of locations than ever before including new sites in Cilgerran and Tenby. Also new to the programme will be Play in the National Park sessions. Specially trained in children's play, the team will help youngsters build dens, ride go-karts, make tyre swings, paint, draw or play sports. Children will be able to come and go as they like during the sessions, although parents are warned that they may get muddy, dirty or wet! As well as the Play in the Park Project, the play action team will also be running indoor Fun Fantastic sessions at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre for children and young people with additional needs and their families. For details of when and where the play project is in your area, or for more information on the Fun Fantastic sessions, log onto www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk or contact the Childcare Partnership office on 01646 683919 or infochildcarepartnership@pembrokeshire.gov.uk
