Activities this Summer!
There's no excuse to get bored this summer, with a host of exciting activities organised by Pembrokeshire County Council, for children and young people of all ages and abilities.
Sport Pembrokeshire
Fun Football Camp Sport Pembrokeshire are running a Fun Football Camp for boys and girls aged 5 to 11 of all abilities during the summer holidays. The days will run from 10am to 3pm and cost £12.50 per day. They will consist of skill practices, fun activities and matches, with the emphasis very much on fun and taking part. The session timetable is as follows:

Activity Xtra! 2010
In summer 2009, Pembrokeshire County Council ran Activity Xtra, a structured activity project for groups of children and young people with additional needs, from the age of 8 to 18. Activity Xtra consisted of a jam packed programme of exciting activity days. Transport was provided from designated central pick up points throughout the county. Although the activities are yet to be confirmed, we plan to run the project again this summer on the following dates:

Pembrokeshire Library Service
The Summer Reading Challenge Pembrokeshire Libraries ‘Summer Reading Challenge' encourages children aged 4 - 11 to read six books over the summer period. With this year's theme being ‘Space Hop', story telling sessions and activities will revolve around space travel and aliens.

Pembrokeshire Youth Summer Programme
Pembrokeshire Youth's Summer Programme is running during August, offering a range of activities for young people aged 11 - 25, who live in the county. Anyone wanting to participate is encouraged to contact the workers below for more information:

Fun Fantastic! Summer 2010 Play sessions for children and young people with additional needs and their families at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre. Play in the National Park For even more fun check out our Play in the National Park sessions, play while exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Please note that under the terms of Open Access Play no contract is made between play workers and parents/carers to provide care for any duration while a child is present at Play in the Park, Fun Fantastic or Play in the National Park. Pembrokeshire Leisure & Community Focused Schools Over the summer, the Pembrokeshire Leisure Service and the Community Focused Schools initiative will be running a range of fantastic activities for children of all ages.
