Photography & Poetry Comp
Keen photographers and poets in the county are invited to get snapping and writing and enter Pembrokeshire Youth's Photography and Poetry Competitions.
The photography theme is ‘My Wales, My Community'.
The poetry theme is ‘Inspiration'.
The competitions will culminate in a joint exhibition next month at Haverfordwest Library running from the 24th - 31st March. When the exhibition finishes, entries can be collected either from the library itself or can be returned to the area/school youth worker and redistributed by them. Individual entries will not be returned unless collected or arranged through workers.
Entries can be posted to the Garage Youth Centre, off Dew Street, Haverfordwest or Neyland Youth Centre, Charles Street, Neyland.
Both competitions are open to youth of all ages, enabling young people from primary schools engaged in programmes facilitated by Youth Support Workers to participate. However only young people in school year seven and above will be allowed to progress on to represent Pembrokeshire in the Youth Events Wales Finals.
Entries close Saturday, 20th March 2010.
