Swimming gala at Narberth

The annual Narberth and District Junior Schools Swimming Gala was held at Narberth Swimming Pool over three days last week.

A total of 115 pupils took part, representing Ysgol Brynconin, Narberth CP School, Tavernspite CP School, Templeton CP School, Whitland CP School, and Ysgol Bro Brynach.

Jenny Price, manageress of Narberth swimming pool, presented ribbons for the 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th placed swimmers along with the shields to the winning relay teams.

She also presented the Overall shield to the winning school - Narberth CP School - and the runners-up shield to Templeton CP School.

The final result was as follows:

1. Narberth 89 points

2. Templeton 56 points

3. Tavernspite 51 points

4. Bro Brynach 37 points

4. Brynconin 35 points

6. Whitland 25 points
