Pembrokeshire Youth Assembly

The aim of the Youth Assembly is to ensure a wide range of young people have the opportunity to actively participate in decision making in Pembrokeshire.

Meetings take place throughout the year with two representatives from all Community Forums (opens new window), Special Interest Forums (opens new window) and School Councils.

Individual forums update the rest of the Youth Assembly during these meetings on how they have their voices heard within their community and how they have been involved in influencing local decision- makers.

Throughout the year all forums work on national issues and present the outcomes at these meetings.

Information at Youth Assembly level is fed up to Funky Dragon (opens new window) (Children and Young Peoples Youth Assembly for Wales) and the Childrens Commissioner for Wales (opens new window). The representatives also have the responsibility of feeding back to their own forum and the wider community of youth groups in their area.
